The Lancers dominated the Algonquin Thunder in a 89-59 team win in Ottawa Wednesday night.

Having gotten off to a bit of a slow start, the Lancers showed plenty of grit and determination in the second quarter and battled back to take over the lead heading into the half.

There was no doubt who was in charge the remainder of the game. Finally coming together in a way that hasn’t yet been seen, the Lancers capitalized on turnovers  and outscored the Thunder 29-10 in the third quarter to extend their lead to 22.

Continuing to work through the final quarter, the Lancers extended their lead once again and rolled to a 89-59 win over the Thunder.

In a true team victory, every member of the Lancers played & recorded points leading to the team’s 3rd win of the season.

Third year Lancer Aiden Wells stepped up in a big way for his team, scoring 24 points and 3 rebounds in the win & was the game’s leading scorer. After missing the past 2 games to injury, Tigh Chapman was back in the line up for the Lancers and recorded a double double on the night with 12 points & 12 rebounds.

The Lancers look to build on this win Sunday when they travel back to the Nation’s capital to take on the La Cite Coyotes.
