The Lancers secured their second win in a row Sunday in Ottawa with a 92-60 win over the La Cite Coyotes.
Holding a 6 point lead at the end of the first quarter, the Lancers dominated the second and outscored the Coyotes 31-14 to extend their lead to 51-28 at the half.
The Lancers drew first blood in the game, taking control of the lead and never relinquishing it. Holding a 20-14 lead, an explosive second quarter saw the Lancers outscore the Coyotes 31-14 to extend their lead to 51-28 at the half. First year stand-out Hakim Dahnoun was responsible for 10 of the Lancers 31 points in the quarter.
The Lancers rolled through the rest of the game, holding the Coyotes to 16 points or less to take the win 92-60.
Dahnoun added 13 more points in the second half for a game high 24 points, 6 rebounds & 3 steals. Lancers’ leading scorer Angelo Sarsonas contributed 15 points.
The Lancers look to extend their win streak to 3 when they play their final game of the first half Friday in Kingston against St. Lawrence Vikings.
