The Lancers got back in action Friday night in the Lancerdome when they hosted the Centennial 8-3 Centennial Colts.

The Lancers trailed the Colts the entire game through the final minutes of the fourth quarter until a swing in the momentum saw the Lancers gain control of the match.

With minutes left on the clock Noah Korovesi drove to the basket off a pass from Chris Asomani to tie the game. Coach Kabeya called a time out for the Lancers and drew up an inbound play that saw Korovesi with the ball again, and again, he came through and put the Lancers up 1.

In a back and forth battle in the final seconds, the a foul against the colts saw Angelo Sarsonas at the line and pushing the Lancers ahead 84-81 to complete the sweep of the Colts.

Angelo Sarsonas was the game high scorer with 23 points and 6 rebounds while Chris Asomani recorded another double double on the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lancers get back in action Saturday January 20th when they take on the Algonquin Thunder.
