The Lancers earned their 14th win of the season with a quick 3-0 victory over the La Cite Coyotes.
Picking up where the left off the night before, the Lancers rolled through a 25-15 first set win.
After a brief slip that saw the Coyotes catch up early on in the second set, the Lancers regained themselves and took back control and came away with another 25-15 win and then finished off the game with a set with a 25-14 third set.
At the net, the Lancers put up some great blocks and touched if not stopped the majority of the balls that crossed the net. Third year middle Emilie Leneveu capped off the game with an unbelievable blocking streak that pushed the Lancers to victory in the final points. Offensively, setter Lorraine Spellman set a great, well spread out game with 9 different players contributing points to the win. Sara Piana Yafu led the team with 18 kills, 1 ace and 2 blocks while Leneveu added 7 kills of her own and 3 stuff blocks.
The 15-1 Lancers take on the Durham Lords next Saturday at home at 1pm in their second last regular season game of the year.
