The men’s basketball team picked up a BIG win over the Fleming Knights in Belleville Tuesday night.
The Lancers held a 19-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and maintained control of the game through the second, outscoring the Knights 29-15 in the quarter. The Lancers had the touch from behind the arc, banking an impressive 8 3 point shots in the first half to take a commanding 48-27 lead.
Continuing to dominate, the Lancers outscored the Knights 46-22 in the second half to cruise to a 94-49 win. The now 8-8 Lancers were the stronger team at both ends of the court, recording 34 defensive rebounds and an impressive 16 steals.
Raymond Yeung had yet another great game, scoring 19 points and grabbing 5 rebounds and 5 steals while Chris Asomani recorded his 5th double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Next up, the Lancers will hit the road to take on the Georgian Grizzlies on Saturday February 10th.
