The Lancers took down the Durham Lords 3-1 on Saturday in the Lancerdome.

Getting off to an 8-2 lead, the Lancers forced the Lords into an early time out but maintained the lead right up to the end of the set. The Lords battled back with tough serving but the Lancers finished out the first set 25-22.
The Lancers came back with a big 25-19 win to go up 2-0 before falling 25-17 in the third.

The Lancers came firing back with aggressive serving and smart attacking to earn a 25-18 win to take the set 3-1.

Sara Piana Yafu lead the game with 16 kills, 3 blocks and an ace for 20 points while teammate Christine Madogo racked up 18 points of her own with 12 kills, 3 aces and 3 blocks.

Outside hitter Alicia Orsborne played a great game, showing off her array of shots and impressive defensive abilities.

The Lancers play their final league game Wednesday when they take on the second place Centennial Colts.
