The Gym That Built Us: The Final Games in the Lancerdome
For decades, the Loyalist Lancers' original gym, affectionately knowns as "the Lancerdome" has been more than a building, it's been our home. It's where athletes found their footing, teams made their history, fans roared through championships, and generations of Lancers built lifelong memories. As construction continues on the College's new athletics facility, this season marks the end of an era.
With only five home dates remaining in the regular season, the Lancers are inviting alumni, former athletes, longtime supporters, and community members to return and help celebrate the final chapter in the gym that built us.
Fans will have five final opportunities to experience the atmosphere, energy, and history of the original Lancer gym:

The original Lancer gym has hosted thousands of practices, hundreds of games, countless championships, and even more moments of growth, perseverance, and pride. It has been the starting point for athletes who went on to bigger stages, coaching careers, and leadership roles on and off the court.
From soaring kills to game‑winning threes, from packed playoff crowds to quiet early‑morning practices — this gym raised generations of Lancers.
As the College prepares to open its brand‑new facility in a few weeks, these final games offer a unique opportunity to celebrate the past while looking ahead to the future. This isn't just the closing of a gym — it's a celebration of every person, team, and moment that helped define what it means to be a Lancer.
Join us for the final home games. Bring your teammates. Bring your family. Bring your memories.
The gym that built us deserves a full house.
