Lancers Continue to Build Soccer Program with Commitment of Valerie Snow
The Loyalist Lancers women's soccer team is excited to announce the commitment of Valerie Snow, a centre midfielder from Peterborough, Ontario, who will join the program beginning this coming season.
Standing 5'7", Snow brings an elite soccer foundation shaped by 14 years of playing experience. She has spent the past eight seasons competing with the Peterborough City Soccer Association in both the DRSL and I Model leagues. She has trained and competed in a high‑performance club environment that emphasizes consistency, technical development, and competitive match play. Through years of league fixtures and tournament competition, Valerie has established herself as a reliable and driven midfielder who thrives in demanding settings.
Valerie's long‑term commitment to the game reflects both her passion for soccer and her competitive nature. As a central midfielder, she has gained extensive experience operating in the heart of the field, having developed game awareness, composure, and resilience through structured and challenging club programs. Her background competing year‑after‑year at a high level provides a strong platform as she transitions into the collegiate game.
Head Coach Tom Moran is looking forward to welcoming Snow to the squad.
"Valerie is a well‑rounded player who can work box to box and keep the team focused," Moran said. "Her ability to read the game, combined with her technical skills, will translate well to the OCAA level."
Valerie will begin her studies in the Pre‑Health program at Loyalist, embracing the opportunity to grow both academically and athletically.
The Lancers are excited to welcome Valerie to the team and look forward to seeing her competitive edge and dedication make an impact within the women's soccer program.
