Lancers Turn in Personal Best Performances On National Stage

For the first time in the last decade, the Loyalist Lancers women's cross country team qualified for the CCAA National Championships, held this year at St. Clair College in Windsor, ON. Team members Cassandra Elliot, Jenna-Mae Oickle, Roya Shafai, and Bianca Rainville each delivered personal-best times on the national stage. Elliott led the way with a time of 27:41.80, followed by Oickle,  (28:41.00), Shafai (29:05.50), and Rainville (30:52.20).

With grit, tenacity and amazing team cohesion, this foursome of wonderful young athletes has set the tone for future generations of Lancers.
